Alfastat is a veterinary antidiarrheal medication containing kaolin and pectin to treat acute and chronic diarrhea in animals. It works by adsorbing bacterial toxins and soothing the irritated intestinal mucosa.

Dogs: 1-2 teaspoons every 4-6 hours. Cats: half to 1 teaspoon every 4-6 hours. Livestock: 60-120 ml every 6 hours. Administer orally. Continue until diarrhea stops or as directed by a veterinarian.
Store at room temperature (15-25°C). Keep away from moisture and sunlight. Shake well before use. Keep out of reach of children.
