Biotalex is a specialized veterinary product for treating blood parasites in livestock. Contains diminazene aceturate, effective against Babesia, Trypanosoma, and Anaplasma. Indicated for cattle, sheep, goats, and camels.
Veterinary antiprotozoal treatment for blood parasites in livestock using diminazene aceturate.
Diminazene aceturate 445 mg, Antipyrine (phenazone) 375 mg, excipients.
Dissolve the powder in 10-20 ml of sterile water. Administer by intramuscular or subcutaneous injection at a dose of 3.5 mg/kg body weight. For trypanosomiasis: 7 mg/kg. Administer under veterinary supervision. A single dose is usually sufficient; repeat after 24-48 hours if needed.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light and sunlight. Storage temperature: below 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
For use under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian only. Withdrawal period before slaughter: 28 days. Do not use in horses. Toxic at overdose - administer precisely. For veterinary use only.
