Ingredients

Active ingredient: dexamethasone (as sodium phosphate) 2 mg/mL injectable solution.

Directions for Use

Use under veterinary supervision. Routes: IM for cattle/pigs/dogs/cats; IV/IM/intra-articular for horses. Typical doses (per SPC): - Horses/cattle/pigs: 1.5 mL per 50 kg. - Dogs/cats: 0.5 mL per 10 kg. Other indications (ketosis, induction of parturition) have specific dosing per label/SPC.

Storage Instructions

Do not store above 25 C. Protect from light. Use within 28 days after first opening (per SPC).

Warnings

Prescription veterinary medicine. Contraindications include diabetes and certain chronic renal/cardiac conditions except emergency. Corticosteroids can suppress immunity, delay wound healing, and may worsen infections; use antibacterial cover if needed. Use with caution in pregnant animals; late pregnancy use may induce parturition/abortion. Observe withdrawal times per local label for food animals.
