Gentamicin antibiotic injection for bacterial infections in livestock and horses
Montagin Injection is a gentamicin sulfate aminoglycoside antibiotic for veterinary parenteral use in livestock and horses. Effective against Gram-negative bacteria including E. coli, Klebsiella and Pseudomonas causing respiratory, urinary and systemic infections.

Gentamicin sulfate 50 mg/ml, water for injection q.s., sodium chloride for osmotic adjustment
Cattle and sheep: 2-4 mg/kg body weight by intramuscular or subcutaneous injection once or twice daily for 3-5 days. Horses: 6.6 mg/kg intravenously once daily. By veterinary prescription only.
Store in a cool, dry place between 2-8°C away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid use in animals with renal impairment. Do not administer with diuretics. Meat withdrawal period: 28 days. For veterinary use only. Gentamicin causes nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity at high doses.
