Oxytetracycline antibiotic injection for bacterial infections in sheep and cattle
Montocin Injection 50ml is a broad-spectrum oxytetracycline antibiotic for sheep, cattle and horses. Treats pneumonia, shipping fever, foot rot and bacterial enteritis. Effective against Gram-positive, Gram-negative bacteria, mycoplasmas and rickettsiae. IM or SC administration.

Oxytetracycline Hydrochloride 50 mg/ml (or 200 mg/ml), Distilled Water for Injection, Pyrrolidone 2% as solvent
For sheep and cattle: 10-20 mg/kg body weight (1 ml per 5-10 kg) by intramuscular or subcutaneous injection once daily for 3-5 days. Do not exceed 10 ml at a single injection site.
Store between 2-25°C away from direct light and moisture. Use within 30 days of opening.
Do not administer to lactating cows. Meat withdrawal period: 28 days. Milk withdrawal period: 72 hours. Do not use in pregnant animals. Keep out of reach of children.
